Ways to Give at RECC
Tithe.ly
RECC uses Tithe.ly as an option of how to give online. Donors have the choice to give a sum of money + the processing fees, or just a sum of money. Create an account, if you would like, and let Tithe.ly keep track of your giving amounts/dates for use later!
Give Via Cash or Check
Checks can be made payable to “Rivers Edge Christian Church”. The cash or check can then be dropped off or mailed to the church at 1247 Cedar Bend Street, Waterloo, Ia. 50703
Give Online
Most banks and some credit card companies have methods to make online payments from their Web Site or Mobile platform. To do this you will need to look on their individual Web Sites and or check with the individual company you want to use to see if it can be done.
At Wells Fargo online bill pay you can automatically send checks to the church with only the church’s name and address.
The church banks with Veridian. At Veridian online you can use online bill pay or online transfer to automatically send funds to the Church.
Some companies may want the Church’s bank account number and routing number. If you find this to be the case, you can call the church treasurers to obtain the information you need.
Gift of Real Estate
Under certain circumstances, RECC accepts gifts of Real Estate. Donating appreciated Real Estate can afford you significant tax advantages while allowing a substantial gift to the Church that may avoid capital gain taxes.
Gift of Used Vehicle or Boat
To donate your used vehicle or boat, please call us. RECC uses a third-party company to sell the vehicle or boat at auction and the proceeds are then returned to the Church. Paperwork to receive a tax deduction for the vehicle will be compiled for you.
