Our mission is to empower our community to be true worshippers of GOD!

What we believe about:

Jesus Christ the Son

Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the eternal Son of God. Conceived of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary, He was born both fully human and fully divine. Because He lived a sinless life, He was able to become our atoning sacrifice, taking the sins of all mankind on Himself as He died on the cross. After three days, He rose from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death. Jesus brought the kingdom of God into our world, making it available to all who choose to follow Him. Jesus ascended into Heaven and will return again one day. (Matthew 1:22-23; Acts 10:37-43; Hebrews 4:14-15; Colossians 1:15-21; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

Salvation

We need salvation because we have sinned. Sin separates us from our loving God, who desires a deep and loving relationship with us. In our sinful state, we are completely lost and without hope because there is no action, work, or personal goodness that we can do to bring us back to a right relationship with God. Salvation, the forgiveness of our sins, is freely given by the grace of God through the sacrifice of Jesus. We access the grace-gift of God through baptism by immersion. (Romans 3:23-24; John 14:6; Acts 2:37-39; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:3-8)

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with God the Father and God the Son(Jesus Christ). He is at work in the world, making people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation, guiding and transforming us in the way of Jesus. He provides us with the power to live a fruitful, victorious life in Christ, transforming us in increasing holiness as we yield our will to his. He provides each child of God with a spiritual gift or gifts to use serving others. (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 14:16-17; John 16:7-13; 1 Corinthians 2:12; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 3:16-20)

Evangelism

Christ came to seek and save the lost, giving His life to redeem the souls of mankind. Jesus’ last command was for us to spread the Good News about Him and the salvation He brought to the entire world. His greatest commandment concerned love for God and our neighbor. Putting these three together, we will boldly reach out to the lost for Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20; Matthew 23:37-40)

Bible

The Bible is the inspired word of God, revealing His character to humanity. God inspired human authors to communicate the principles and values that are pleasing to Him and are in our best interests. The Bible is accurate, reliable, and trustworthy. It is as relevant today as it was when it was first written. It is the final authority in all matters of faith. (2 Timothy 3:14-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 1 Thessalonians 2:13)

We also believe...

The Bible and the teachings of Jesus provide instruction in how to live our lives. We are called to serve others, imitating Jesus who came to serve, not to be served. Our interpersonal relationships are also of concern to God. All who accept Jesus as their Savior are added to the family of God. Marriage is to be the visual representation of Christ’s love for and relationship with His bride, the Church. We believe marriage was institued by God from the beginning of the world and unites one man to one woman. (Matthew 20:28; Acts 2:47; Ephesians 5:22-23; Genesis 2:18-24)
